Latin Art in Minnesota Conversations and What’s Next.

Cover design of Latin art in Minnesota book by Uno branding

UNO Branding, a creative agency dedicated to diversity and inclusion, has partnered with Afton Press and curator and editor William G. Franklin to design a 250 pages book that highlights the contributions of Latin artists to the state’s cultural scene and explore how their work can continue to shape Minnesota’s creative landscape.

The book explores the central themes of immigration, identity, and preserving traditions in the diaspora; the twelve artists in this book share their stories and experiences candidly in interviews conducted by other Latino leaders and activists from Minnesota. These casual conversations reveal a unique and intimate perspective of this vibrant arts community.

“UNO Branding is committed to creating opportunities for diverse voices to be heard and celebrated,” said Luis Fitch, Founder, and Creative Director of UNO Branding. “We’re thrilled to partner with Afton Press and curator William G. Franklin to design this book that showcases the work of the twelve artists that share their stories and experiences candidly in interviews conducted by other Latino leaders and activists from Minnesota.”

“We hope this book will inspire people to learn more about Latin artists in Minnesota and support their work,” said Luis. “There’s so much talent and creativity in our community, and we’re excited to showcase the art with the design of this book.”
