UCare Reaches Multicultural Audiences In New Ways.

Multicultural brand campaign design for UCare

UCare, an independent, nonprofit health plan that provides health coverage and services across Minnesota and parts of western Wisconsin, partnered with UNO Branding, a cross-cultural design agency, to evolve the UCare brand by raising awareness in strategic, culturally-specific ways.

Together, we developed communications targeted towards African American, Hmong, Somali, Latinx, people with disabilities, and rural Minnesotan communities.

The goal for this new groundbreaking advertising campaign was to meet people where they’re at with a strong commitment toward multicultural and marginalized communities. 

The campaign includes installing touchless hand sanitizing stations and branded signage in community malls with high-traffic areas. Communications included radio, on transit (bus and rail), and online with digital ads that drive to translated landing pages.
