Acquired by PepsiCo, Gamesa is a well-known cookie company that sells products in the United States, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
The Project
Gamesa is Mexico’s most popular and largest producer of snack products, with over one hundred years of history. The company needed to modernize its “dated” 1960s packaging design for several products to enhance sales with Latinx families in the United States.
Services
Packaging architecture, art direction, translations, and focus group research.
The Solution
We created fun superheroes and cartoon images, jumping to grab the large picture of the cookies on the front side of the packaging. The backside included fun games and puzzles that could be played by the kids while enjoying the product with milk.
