Acquired by PepsiCo, Gamesa is a well-known Mexican cookie company that sells products in the United States, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
Gamesa is Mexico’s most popular and largest producer of snack products, with over one hundred years of history. They needed new packaging to promote its “Posadas” holiday cookies. Las Posadas are Mexico’s premier Christmas celebrations (December 16-24), consisting of family festivities and house parties, where music, food, drink, and piñatas are at the center of everything.

To authentically represent the traditional values of this holiday, we designed a series of storybook images for the packaging that depicts the story of Christmas, the three wise men, and the piñatas traditionally used in the festivities are usually centered around children.
